    Questions

    Is the bootcamp really free?

Yes, 100% free. CyberProwess is a nonprofit and our programmes are funded through grants and sponsorships. There are no hidden fees.

    Do I need prior experience?

No prior cybersecurity experience is required. Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn are all you need. We start from the fundamentals.

    What equipment do I need?

A laptop or desktop with at least 8 GB RAM and a stable internet connection. All lab environments are cloud-based, so there's no special software to buy.

    How are classes delivered?

Classes are delivered live online via Zoom, with recordings available for review. Hands-on labs run 24/7 so you can practise at your own pace.

    Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. When you complete the bootcamp and capstone project you'll receive a CyberProwess Completion Certificate. Every certificate has a unique ID that employers can check at cyberprowess.org/verify. We also help you prepare for industry certifications like CompTIA Security+.

    What is the time commitment?

Plan for 10–15 hours per week over 12 weeks. Sessions are scheduled on evenings and weekends to suit working professionals.

    When do applications close?
